Crystalline glazing originally came from China. Mike Verhoeks is a master at glazing and firing these beautiful and unique pieces of collectable pottery. Pieces must be fired at a maximum temperature and cooled to a specific temperature to produce the beautiful crystalline finish. These ceramics are very time consuming and expensive to produce due to the process and materials used. there can be failures when firing crystalline glazed ceramics, but when it all goes well, the results are amazing. This gorgeous vase will be a treasured addition to your home collection for years to come.
